Space Age carbon fiber neck has a compound-radius composite fingerboard, pearl dot top position markers, and bidirectional relief adjusting rod. The Basslines MM pickup is controlled by a Bartolini active tone system with master volume and 2-band EQ. Includes hardshell case.The Modulus Quantum bass neck featured on these basses is a lightweight, ultra-rigid D-shaped shell made from dozens of layers of hand-formed, aerospace-grade, epoxy-impregnated carbon fibers. Its miraculous strength-to-weight ratio and extreme resonant peak make it ideal for producing unclouded, even tone. Because carbon fiber telegraphs attack more quickly than conventional wood necks, it also aids articulation and clearly pronounces attack dynamics. A non-structural relief adjusting system adjusts in both directions, allowing for underbow and overbow. Each note produced is full, with abundant low and high harmonics. The harder material adds extra high end sizzle and tighter focus to tone.The NTBT 2-band active EQ with master volume lets you tweak your tone eight ways from Sunday. The treble control is centered at 6kHz with 16dB boost/cut. The bass control is centered at 30Hz with 15dB boost/cut. Both controls are detented at 0.
