Taylor 710-L9 Short Scale Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar

Taylor 710-L9 Short Scale Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar

With the 710-L9 Dreadnought you can achieve new heights in tone and playability thanks to a scale length that's 5/8" shorter than a standard model. The warm, responsive tone of Engelmann spruce; rich, full overtones of Indian rosewood; and expert Taylor craftsmanship deliver a superior instrument with luscious tone.A traditional shape refined, the Taylor dreadnought combines classic dreadnought volume and bass response with the definitive Taylor sound -- clear trebles and an open, airy midrange that Bob Taylor's signature design accentuates. A recent re-voicing turns up the bass and volume even more. Dreadnoughts respond especially well to flatpicking or light-to-heavy strumming. The body is accented by Indian rosewood binding, Hawaiian koa soundhole rosette, and an ebony fretboard with abalone snowflake inlays. The finish used to create this guitar's lustrous gloss top, back, and sides was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultraviolet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes.
